My Furry Valentine Animal Adoption Event
February is just a few days away, and I’m already anticipating the cards and extra love I’m sure to receive from my family for Valentine’s Day. But maybe cards, flowers, or gifts are not what is going to fill your heart this Valentine’s Day. Maybe it is something more that you are looking for – perhaps something furry and cuddly. If it is a new puppy, dog, kitten, or cat that your heart desires, then mark your calendar for the My Furry Valentine adoption event that will be held February 9th (11 AM to 5 PM) and 10th (11 AM to 4 PM.)
The main adoption event will be held at the flexi USA, Inc. Distribution Center
(8494 Firebird Drive) in West Chester. There is free admission and parking, and you will be able to browse over 300 lovable animals looking for their furever homes! All adopted pets will get to go home with you along with free pet supplies, products, toys, food, a flexi retractable leash, and a chance to win one of many larger gift baskets valued at $100-$500! There will also be plenty of entertainment for the whole family, including games, face painting, a balloon artist, a caricature artist, and live entertainment.
Make sure you check out our 5 Reasons to Rescue to see why rescuing your next pet can make a huge difference in both of your lives! If you can’t make the main adoption event in West Chester, click here to find other participating locations. Wherever it is, we are sure you will be able to find your perfect match this Valentine’s Day!
Feature Rescue: Blaze
The Animal Adoption Foundation in Ross will be one of the off site participants in the My Furry Valentine event. This week, our feature rescue is one of their adorable dogs! Blaze is a 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd who was taken to AAF when his owner couldn’t care for him anymore. He loves affection and would love being a family pet, as he enjoys the company of other dogs, kids, and cats! If you or someone you know could give Blaze his second chance at happiness, please click here to contact AAF or see other dogs and cats they have waiting for furever homes!
