Harvest Home Fair Dog Walk

Harvest Home Fair Dog Walk

The 153rd Annual Harvest Home Fair, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Cheviot-Westwood, will be held at the Harvest Home Fairgrounds (3691 North Bend Road in Cheviot) from September 6th to 9th.  Part of this weekend of events includes the 4th Annual Harvest Home Fair Dog Walk, held on Sunday, September 9th, at 9AM. The cost for the walk is $12 per dog, with each dog walker receiving a t-shirt and goody bag.  The walk entry also includes admission into the Harvest Home Fair!  Professional photographer, Holly Yurchinson, will be on hand to take family photos with your pooch for only $5.  Proceeds from both the walk and the photos will benefit Fourgotten Paws Animal Rescue.

Fourgotten Paws is a no-kill animal rescue which provides medical care to their foster animals and keeps them in foster homes, not a shelter, until they are both physically and emotionally prepared to go to their forever homes.   If you are at the Harvest Home Fair, be sure to look for Fourgotten Paws’ booth!  You can register for the walk, check out their available animals for adoption, browse items for sale, or enter in their raffle, with the grand prize being a stay in the Smokey Mountains!  Click here to register for the Dog Walk, or registration is also available the day of the event from 8 to 8:45AM.  Definitely make sure to mark your calendars for the Harvest Home Fair and the Dog Walk.  This is a fun and easy way to help Fourgotten Paws continue in their mission to “promote responsible pet ownership and promote kindness to animals through education and example!”
