Doggie Pool Parties!

It’s finally warming up enough to get into those bathing suits and hit the pools! Does your favorite dingo like to enjoy taking a dip as well?  If so, you should head to Friends of Kenton Paw Park (3951 Madison Pike) in Covington this Saturday, June 15th, for their pool party!

From 11 AM to 3 PM, your dingo can enjoy a romp in any of the baby pools located throughout dog park. Food and beverages as well as pet and people treats will be available. There will be free admission and free parking for this event, although donations for the park will be accepted.

Kenton Paw Park is two enclosed areas in Pioneer Park for off leash dog recreation, open to all dog lovers and dog owners. Like all dog parks, it gives dogs and their owners a chance to socialize as it promotes responsible dog ownership. If you can’t make it to the pool party, make sure you take advantage of the opportunity for socialization and exercise that your local dog park has to offer!

Help us find sweet Emma her forever family!

Feature Rescue: Emma

Our feature rescue this week is a one-year-old terrier mix from Paws and Claws Animal Rescue in Northern Kentucky. Emma is very playful and gets along with everyone! She is both house trained and crate trained. This sweet girl will only chew on her own toys and just wants to be a part of a family and have someone to snuggle with.  If you or someone you know could be the snuggle buddy Emma is looking for, send all inquiries with a completed application to pawsandclawsanimalrescue@gmail.com.  You can also click here to see other lovable animals at Paws and Claws who are in need of a furever home!  Thank you to Paws and Claws for sharing Emma’s story and for the work they do to save animals!
