Dog Friendly Happy Hours with the Pink Paw Summer Series!

NCCF Pink Paw Summer Series

The 4th of July is a huge party day for us Americans as we celebrate the birth of our beautiful country.  But you don’t have to let your summer of partying end then.  The Cincinnati Chapter of The National Canine Cancer Foundation is hosting the Pink Paw Summer Series as it teams up with bars and businesses hosting Yappy Hours for you and your pup!

As a result of the success of its Oakley Pub Crawl this spring, the NCCF wanted to give Cincinnati pup lovers another opportunity to get out this summer and enjoy a nice cold beverage along with some food and friends, including those furry ones.  The series begins this Sunday, July 7th, at MadTree Brewing (5164 Kennedy Ave.) from 2 PM to 6 PM, where you can enjoy the delicious MadTree beers along with food from Catch-A-Fire Pizza.  There will also be live music, a cornhole tournament, raffles, and adoption opportunities with Greyhound Adoption of Cincinnati.  Other locations for the series include Bark & Wine at Oakley Wines on July 11th, Wags Park on August 16th, and The Famous Neons Unplugged on August 25th.  Additional dates to be confirmed at Oakley Pub and Grill, The Oak Tavern, and more through September! Each event has a little something different to offer, from cornhole to Jenga, pizza and doggie treats to gourmet foods.  But they all come with fun and entertainment for you and your pup!  Keep track of the events throughout the summer on the Cincinnati NCCF Facebook page.

Canine cancer affects one in every three dogs, and over half of those dogs will die from this disease.  These terrible statistics definitely ring true to me as both of my family dogs died of cancer when I was young, and I have friends who have struggled through cancer battles with their beloved dogs as well.  The National Canine Cancer Foundation raises money to help fund important research grants that are working towards improving these awful cancer statistics.  I can’t think of an easier way to help the NCCF raise funds to fight canine cancer than to enjoy at least one of these happy hours with your friends and/or your dog! Are you ready to join the NCCF in its fight against canine cancer?

We at Naked Dingo want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!  And we send a special thank you to all of our service men and women, their families, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to make our country the land of the free!
