How do you enter?  Click here to submit your photo of your furry Bengals enthusiast.  Entrants must live in the WKRC-TV viewing area to be eligible.  The deadline for entries is December 10th at noon.

Hershel is a sweet boy looking for his furever home!

Paws and Claws City BBQ Fundraiser and Feature Rescue Hershel

Our feature rescue this week comes from Paws and Claws animal rescue.  Hershel was a stray who wandered onto a Good Samaritan’s porch around Halloween with an exposed bone coming out of his leg. X-rays showed his injury to be a gunshot wound with metal fragments still in his leg, and the vet was forced to amputate the injured leg. Hershel is a super sweet boy, now neutered and up-to-date on shots, and he is currently in his foster home waiting for his furever home. If you or someone you know could give Hershel a loving home, contact Paws and Claws.  They are also looking for more volunteers to foster animals if you could help them in that way!

Paws and Claws Animal Rescue, Inc. was founded in January of 2012 and is based in Hebron, KY.  In the last year, Paws and Claws has saved  60 dogs and cats that were facing euthanasia at different shelters! They are a foster home based rescue, relying solely on donations to keep saving lives. Many of the animals who are taken in by Paws and Claws have special needs, ranging from behavior issues, senior animals, and medical and health issues such as FIV positive cats, mange dogs, and heartworm positive dogs. The cost of the care and rehab of these animals is very very high.

On Wednesday, November 14, from 10:30 AM until 10:30 PM, the City Barbecue in Florence (8026 Burlington Pike Florence, KY) will be giving Paws and Claws 25% of their dine in and carry out sales! The only catch? You have to bring a flier with you for 25% of your sales to be donated. Click here to download the flier. Sounds easy to me if you are in the Florence area… You get GREAT food, and Paws and Claws gets money to help save more lives! Take a friend or order lunch in for your office!  Help Paws and Claws continue in their mission to give as many dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens a chance a the best furever life they can have!
