The Art of Entertaining Summer Solstice Party

This Friday, June 21st, marks the the first day of summer, the summer solstice.  So if you are not planning on spending the evening in a futile attempt to balance a raw egg on its end, you can head to The Art of Entertaining (2019 Madison Rd) in O’bryonville for its Summer Solstice party.

From 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, you can enjoy an evening of delicious drinks, food, and smooth jazz.  For $35, you will receive a welcome wine or beer along with seasonal cuisine from the Chef Team to enjoy as you browse some unique offerings from specially selected area artisans.  Best of all, this event benefits Pets in Need of Greater Cincinnati, a local non-profit that works to provide essential wellness care for the pets of low-income families.

Reservations for this event are strongly recommended and are not taken after 4:00 PM Thursday. Tickets at the door will be $40.  Even if you are not able to make this event, please check out Pets in Need and consider making a donation to help them help others do the best for their pets!

Look at Durango’s adorable puppy face!

Feature Rescue: Durango

Our feature rescue this week is a Beagle/Spaniel mix who has been at Recycled Doggies since February.  Durango is an adorable 1 to 2 year old boy, weighing about 24 pounds.  He has been doing great with his training and LOVES tennis balls!  He would do best in a home without children.  If you or someone you know may be interested in Durango, or to see other Recycled Doggies in need of a forever home, visit their website: www.recycleddoggies.org. Help us thank Recycled Doggies for the work they do to save doggies by finding a home for Durango!
