On Sunday, September 23rd, make sure to mark your calendar for the 2nd Annual Strut Your Mutt. This event will be held from noon until 6PM along the river on Front Street in New Richmond, OH. Exciting activities for you and your dog will be held throughout the day, including fun animal contests, a picnic with your pet, Canine Good Citizen Testing, demonstrations, raffles, animal adoptions, rescue groups, vendors, music, and more! The Pet Parade of Animals will kick off at 2PM!
2011 Strut Your Mutt Event
Strut Your Mutt raises funds to enable Tri State CART’s continued animal disaster responses throughout its coverage area of 31 counties surrounding the greater Cincinnati area, in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Tri State CART is a non-profit disaster response team that focuses on the care of animals during times of local disaster, with services ranging from public service announcements to establishing temporary animal shelters to care for the pets of displaced families. Recently, CART has been called upon to assist local animal control officers with animal hoarding situations. This not only is a great organization to support, but it also sounds like a fun day filled with variety for the whole family! What are you doing to enjoy this gorgeous fall weather?
