Doggie Pool Parties!
It’s finally warming up enough to get into those bathing suits and hit the pools! Does your favorite dingo like to enjoy taking a dip as well? If so, you should head to Friends of Kenton Paw Park (3951 Madison Pike) in Covington this Saturday, June 15th, for their pool party! Animal Adoption Foundation’s Annual Yard Sale
If you love a great yard sale bargain like me, then you are going to want to head to the Animal Adoption Foundation in Hamilton (2480 Ross Millville Rd) for their annual yard sale this weekend! The sale will take place Friday and Saturday, June 7th and 8th, from 9 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday, June 9th, from 11 AM to 4 PM. The Animal Adoption Foundation is a non-profit no-kill shelter for dogs and cats that have been abused or abandoned. Currently housing about 85 cats and dogs, AAF provides a safe and humane environment for them as they are waiting to be adopted. Proceeds from the yard sale will help the homeless pets at AAF. The temperature is rising again, and one of my favorites to cool off is with a Graeter’s ice cream cone! In fact, our family has started a tradition of celebrating the last day of the school year with Graeter’s. SPCA Doggie Dash & Family Fest
Memorial Day is this weekend, marking the beginning of summer and fun filled outside activities! The 11th Annual SPCA Doggie Dash Dog Walk and Family Fest is definitely one that you want to mark down on your calendar. This event will be Saturday, June 8th, at the SPCA Cincinnati Sharonville Humane Center (11900 Conrey Road in Sharonville.) It’s that time of year when people are cleaning out their closets and garages in preparation for a yard sale. I particularly looking forward to making someone else’s trash my treasure!
